Company known for innumerable privacy violations and predatory behaviour moves fast and breaks a couple of things to win a new market. People sign up in droves for their product anyways, giving it access to every little most private piece of data about themselves.
Not sure what else journalism is supposed to do here. People don’t care about their privacy. Maybe in another 5 years after the entirely predictable outcomes have happened, they’ll start complaining.
